Rovinj – the pearl of Istria, the quintessential Croatian postcard motif. And although the town is a tourist magnet, you can always find a quiet alley or a sunny spot on the harbor promenade to linger. In winter, Rovinj looks much as it did half a century ago, when it was still a quiet little fishing village on the Adriatic. The mass tourism of the summer months is absent, leaving plenty of space and time to relax.

Today we are going diving at one of our favorite dive sites—the island of San Giovanni. Here you can find many octopuses, stonefish, and cat sharks among the rocks.
The second dive takes us to the wreck (Giuseppe Dezza or Maona). The late afternoon and evening are yours to spend at your leisure. This gives you the opportunity to explore the beautiful streets of Rovinj on foot.
DAY 3 SATURDAY

- 9:30 a.m. Departure for the “Titanic of the Adriatic—Baron Gautsch,” the most beautiful and famous wreck in the Adriatic. Here you can drift along and be transported back to the time of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Huge schools of fish will accompany you as you explore the ghostly wreck.
With these impressions, we now head to the second most famous dive site in the upper Adriatic Sea – the island of Banjole. A small island with many grottos and caves invites you to discover many sea creatures. If you know where to look and find the right spot, you may even encounter a grouper or two! - Late afternoon at FREE:
