Porer Reef
Hidden in the middle of the sea lies a reef that has a lot to offer. A plateau, which can only be guessed at from the surface, begins at around 12 m and extends to a depth of around 40 m.
Rock formations, which form grottos and crevices, provide space for lobsters, lobsters and forkbeards. Shrimps from other conger eels peer out of some holes. Old anchors lie on the reef and provide new soil for corals and mussels. At Porer Reef, a normal dive became a spectacular adventure in the 2022 season.
We rescued a cat shark and lobster from an old ghost net at depth. Take a look at the video of the rescue operation. At our diving center, we attach great importance to taking garbage out of the water and protecting the animals! Learn more on our Catshark & Macro Tour!
